New Karachi Town Chairman Inspects Ongoing Development Projects in North Karachi

11-I to inspect ongoing development projects, including road carpeting and footpath beautification works. The visit was attended by union committee chairmen, vice chairmen, councillors, Town officials Jehangzeb Khan, Faisal Sagheer, Sajid Siddiqui, and other concerned officers.

Officials informed the chairman that road carpeting in Sector 9 has entered its final phase and is expected to be inaugurated within the next few days, providing long-awaited relief to local residents. Work on installing colourful paving blocks on footpaths in Sector 11-I is also progressing rapidly.

Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Yousuf said that development activities are continuing at full pace across New Karachi Town, particularly in North Karachi. He said he is personally monitoring the quality, progress, and durability of ongoing projects to ensure citizens receive long-lasting civic facilities.

The chairman directed contractors and relevant officials to complete all projects within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high construction standards. He reiterated that providing essential municipal services at residents’ doorsteps remains the Town administration’s top priority.

He added that, alongside infrastructure development, beautification initiatives—including model streets, modern roads, and upgraded public spaces—are also underway to improve the urban environment and enhance the quality of life for citizens.
