Assistant Commissioner Inspects Chishtian THQ Hospital, Reviews Healthcare Services and Staff Attendance
CHISHTIAN: Assistant Commissioner Chishtian Sahil Rasool Cheema has said that providing quality and timely healthcare is the fundamental right of every patient, adding that negligence in medical treatment, patient care, or hospital management will not be tolerated.
He made these remarks during a surprise inspection of Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Chishtian, conducted on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bahawalnagar Syed Muhammad Abbas Shah.
During the visit, the assistant commissioner checked the attendance of doctors, paramedical staff, and other employees. He also inspected various hospital wards, the emergency department, cleanliness arrangements, security measures, availability of medicines, and the overall standard of healthcare services being provided to patients.
Mr. Cheema met with patients and their attendants, inquired about their wellbeing, and obtained direct feedback regarding medical treatment, staff behavior, and hospital facilities. Most patients expressed overall satisfaction with the healthcare services available at the hospital.
He directed the hospital administration to ensure the uninterrupted availability of quality medical treatment, essential medicines, and improved patient care. He further emphasized that no compromise would be made on cleanliness standards and instructed the management to utilize all available resources to maintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly hospital environment.
The assistant commissioner said the district administration is committed to improving healthcare services through regular monitoring and ensuring efficient service delivery for the public.
