Sindh Declares Public Holiday on July 29 for Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai

KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has announced a public holiday on July 29 across the province on the occasion of the annual Urs of renowned Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA).

According to an official notification, all provincial government offices, semi-government institutions, autonomous bodies, local councils, and educational institutions will remain closed on the occasion.

The provincial government stated that the holiday has been declared to facilitate devotees participating in the Urs celebrations. All concerned departments have been directed to ensure compliance with the official notification.
