Chishtian to Become South Punjab’s Most Beautiful City, Says MNA Ehsan ul Haq Bajwa

CHISHTIAN: Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Chaudhry Ehsan ul Haq Bajwa has reaffirmed his commitment to transforming Chishtian into the most beautiful city in South Punjab through a comprehensive package of development projects.

Speaking during the inauguration of various public development schemes, the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader said that his party has consistently prioritized infrastructure development and public welfare. He highlighted major investments made by previous PML-N governments in motorways, airports, road networks, electricity, natural gas, healthcare, and education across Pakistan.

Bajwa stated that development is the fundamental right of every citizen and emphasized that beautifying Chishtian and improving the quality of life for its residents remains his mission.

He praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for launching people-centric initiatives aimed at improving public services and infrastructure throughout the province.

Referring to Chishtian’s development, the MNA said that if political interference had not delayed projects and development funds in the past, the city would already have emerged as one of South Punjab’s most attractive urban centers.

He announced that large-scale development projects in NA-162 will soon commence, including modern sewerage systems, water supply schemes, street paving with Tuff Tiles, electricity and gas infrastructure, and the construction of hundreds of kilometers of link roads to improve connectivity and public convenience.

Bajwa also highlighted the Punjab government’s ongoing welfare initiatives, including electric bus services, housing loan schemes, and agricultural support programs such as the provision of tractors, laser land levelers, and other assistance for farmers.
