Bahawalpur Commissioner Reviews Chishtian Sahulat Bazaar, Directs Quality Food Supply at Official Prices

CHISHTIAN: Bahawalpur Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia has directed the district administration to ensure the uninterrupted availability of quality food items at government-notified prices, emphasizing that providing affordable and quality commodities to the public remains a top priority under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. During a detailed visit to the Sahulat Bazaar in Chishtian, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Bahawalnagar Syed Muhammad Abbas Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Jam Aftab Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner Chishtian Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa Jatt and other officials, the commissioner inspected various stalls to review the quality, pricing, cleanliness, availability of essential commodities and overall market management. He also interacted with shoppers to receive feedback on the facilities and availability of goods.

The commissioner instructed officials to strictly ensure the sale of quality items at officially fixed prices, maintain cleanliness and discipline throughout the market, and avoid any negligence in public service delivery. Deputy Commissioner Syed Muhammad Abbas Shah assured that all available resources would be utilized to provide the best possible facilities to citizens in line with the Punjab government’s directives.
