Chishtian residents demand district status as 4 new Punjab districts rumors spark concern

CHISHTIAN: Social media is abuzz with reports that the Punjab government is planning to grant district status to four towns — Pattoki, Depalpur, Haroonabad, and Hasilpur. While the news has sparked excitement in these areas, it has also deepened concerns among the people of Chishtian, who have been demanding district status for decades.
